The Longshot

The Longshot es un grupo alterno a Green Day formado en 2018. Billie Joe creó una cuenta de Instagram que es un primer momento estuvo en modo privado y aceptaba solo a los que se lo pedían, ahí subía imágenes y pequeños videos con extractos de canciones que posteriormente lanzarían. Las canciones de estudio están tocadas casi en su totalidad por Billie Joe en todos los instrumentos, mientras que en vivo se conforma por Billie en guitarra y voz principal, David S. Field en la batería, Jeff Matika en el bajo y Kevin Preston en la guitarra.
